Two Words mode
Two Words gives the spy something to say. Civilians see the real word, while the spy sees a different word from the same pack, close enough to sound right and wrong enough to give them away. The round stops being about silence and becomes a question of whose word is whose.
Civilians see
The secret word and its category.
The spy sees
A decoy word from the same pack, and the knowledge that it is not the real one.
When to pick it
Groups that already know Classic, and tables that like detective work more than pure bluffing.
Tips for bluffing and catching
- Answer as if your word were the real one, but only as specifically as the others do.
- Listen for the answer that does not fit your decoy: that is the real word showing through.
- As a civilian, ask questions where two near neighbours would give different answers.
- Do not rush to accuse the first odd answer. A spy with a decoy gives few of them.

Questions
How is the decoy chosen?
The decoy comes from the same pack as the secret word, so the two always share a theme.
Does the spy know they are the spy?
Yes. In Two Words the spy sees the spy role together with the decoy word.
Is it harder for civilians?
A little, because the spy sounds plausible. Specific questions beat general ones here.
